When in Rome… Lisette Model exhibition

Lisette Model (1901-1983) was an American photographer who was born in Austria.
The Museo di Roma in Trastevere (Piazza S. Egidio 1/b, Tel: +39 065816563) exhibits not only Model’s own work, but also that of artists who were influenced by her, like Diane Arbus and Bruce Weber.
21 Photographs from Model’s own oeuvre are on display, whereas over one hundred other photographs testify to the influence Model’s realistic and ironic style had on the generation of photographers that followed hers.
The exhibition finishes November 2nd 2008.
